Now that the Cash for Clunkers bill is poised to be signed into law, the Cash for Clunkers Facts website has seen traffic skyrocket in the past 24 hours.  Traffic to the sight increased by 200% when the bill cleared another hurdle and moved past Republican senators who tried to block the bill from being added to the war time funding bill. 

Interest started to increase earlier this week when the House approved an initial $1 billion in funding for the bill.  Then, late afternoon on June 18^th Cash for Clunkers made its way past Republican Senators who tried to block the program from being added to a $106 billion war funding bill.  Senators voted 60-to-36 to keep the bill alive.
