The 2010 Fit is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, or sports sedan, available in 6 trims, ranging from the 5-Spd MT to the Sport 5-Spd AT w/ Navigation System.

Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 1.5-liter, I4, 117-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 33-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on the 5-Spd MT. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on the Sport 5-Spd AT w/ Navigation System.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Optionsfit 4

The Honda Fit is available in two main trims levels: base and Sport. All trim levels come with a fuel-efficient 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 117 horsepower and 106 pound-feet of torque. The engine now has Honda’s i-VTEC, a variable valve timing technology that wasn’t available on previous models, to help make the Fit more tractable around town. All Honda Fit trim levels have a standard five-speed manual transmission, with a five-speed automatic transmission being optional. Paddle shifters are included with the automatic for the Sport version.

The Honda Fit Sport gains bigger wheels, sportier exterior trim details, cruise control and a six-speaker audio system with an iPod-friendly USB port. Fit Sports can also be optioned with a touchscreen navigation system and stability control.

The Fit has a 117-hp, 1.5-liter, 16-valve, i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine for quicker acceleration. And with dynamic i-VTEC technology, power and torque are boosted at any engine speed.
