If you have a qualifying car that you are definitely trading in, we encourage you to send us a photo of your clunker. Please only send photos of cars that qualify for the program as per http://cars.gov; the only official Federal website for the CARS program.
We created the gallery because most online websites covering the CFC story show photos of junk-yards, rusted heaps of cars or stacks of crushed cars and not cars that people are driving that qualify.
This gallery is designed to see what type of cars the program has attracted to be pulled out of service.
For some consumers writing to us, trading in their old clunker will also be an emotional experience because their old car still drives well and has many good memories.
With up to $4,500 in rebates, the program will give consumers an opportunity to create new memories in a brand new car. So this page will also be a farewell memorial gallery to many faithful cars that will now be sent to the scrapyard.
Requirements: Send photo with your name, state, year, make and model and the EPA combined MPG from http://fueleconomy.gov and we’ll add that to the slide-show.
Send photos to : info@cashforclunkersfacts.com and put the words CFC Photo Gallery in the subject line. Gallery will start on June 27, 2009, so send your photos immediately.
